Being a hair stylist at Talk of the Town Salon is the best job ever. We listen to our clients and create great styles. We do amazing hair. And we take pride in making everyone that walks through our door feel beautiful. Always remember to love you hair. I love my hair because it’s a reflection of my soul. It’s dense, it’s kinky, it’s soft, it’s textured, it’s difficult, it’s easy and it’s fun. That’s why I love my hair.

Deloris Rankin
Outside of the beauty salon, Deloris enjoys spending time with her family. She has a husband and three wonderful children. She has two sons and one daughter. Her eldest son and daughter have both graduated high school, went on to higher education,and are now doing well in their careers. Her youngest son has just begun high school and is enjoying each day so far. Other than spending time with her family, Deloris loves various activities such as traveling, reading, playing card games, gardening, the gym, and shopping. In fact, the only person who can rival her shoe collection is her own sister, Patricia.
Patricia Harris
When Patricia is not at the salon, she enjoys spending time with her family. She is married and has three amazing children. She has been fortunate to have three sons. Her eldest son has graduated high school and is building his career and enjoying life. Her middle son is making his way through school. While her youngest son is a toddler who enjoys puzzles and playing with toys. Other than spending time with her family, Patricia enjoys various activities such as going to the gym, cooking, watching movies, and shopping. Her shoe collection is nothing like you have ever seen.

The Talk of the Town Beauty Salon, owned by sisters Patricia Harris and Deloris Rankin, has been in business since 1996. In business for over 20 years! Currently residing in Pittsburg, California, both sisters are passionate about maintaining healthy hair for each one their clients. They take pride in building and maintaining their business with the help of a strong clientele, including both familiar and fresh faces. The path of Patricia and Deloris has been very similar. They were born in St. Joseph, Louisiana and raised in Pittsburg, California. After graduating from Pittsburg High School, they attended Antioch Beauty School and graduated in 1986. After successfully obtaining their license, both began to quickly gain experience and expanded their knowledge and experience by attending various conventions and classes throughout Atlanta, Florida, Los Angeles, Oakland, & San Jose. Not only did they seek to learn all they could about hair, but they are also up to date on the latest products since it continuously evolve and change. Through a commitment to learn and through their experience, Patricia and Deloris have become a couple of the best hair stylists that you can find.
